Amsterdam Law Forum, the student-edited online law journal of Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam’s Faculty of Law, welcomes manuscripts on the topic The Environment and International Law. We encourage submissions of original scientific (legal) articles, (case) commentaries, book reviews and opinion articles on a broad range of issues such as, but not limited to, environmental crimes, ecocide / the destruction of natural resources and property, environmental effects of armed conflict and the environment and human rights. All submissions should be of an international or transnational legal nature.
Amsterdam Law Forum offers a meaningful platform for established scholars and young academics to discuss, analyse and interpret issues pertaining to international and transnational law. ALF is proud to publish contributions from well-known experts and promising Ph.D. researchers from around the world.
Aside from publishing legal articles, ALF also organises an annual themed seminar. In 2017, the seminar will be on The Environment and International Law. Therefore, ALF warmly encourages practitioners and academics who wish to contribute to the seminar as panellists or with written manuscripts to contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that submissions must be in English (UK spelling), and submitted electronically through ALF’s official website after completing registration. Authors must also submit a bio-statement and the abstract of the article intended for publication. For more information on article length, language, references and ALF’s scope please check the “Author Guidelines”, which can be found in the “Submission” section of our website www.amsterdamlawforum.org, or contact us at email@example.com.
Deadline for submissions is 7 April 2017.
We look forward to receiving your submission!
